How to buy
Everything your reviewers need to approve VendMetric
Most of our customers have to take this through procurement, security, finance, or all three. This page is built to be forwarded: the commercial terms, our own vendor documents, and honest answers to the questions those teams always ask.
What you are approving
The commercial terms, in one place
No quote required to read this. If something here does not fit your process, say so and we will work to your paper.
Plans
Starter $99/month, Professional $299/month, Enterprise quoted. Procurement & Finance is an optional module at $199/month on top of a plan.
Billing
Monthly or annual. Annual pays ten months, so two months are free.
Setup fees
None on self-service plans. Implementation, migration, and managed service are quoted separately when you want them.
Term and cancellation
Cancel anytime. There is no multi-year commitment and no exit fee.
Purchase orders
We accept a PO and can invoice against it. Tell us your net terms and required PO fields and we will match them.
Pilot
60 days free with Professional features, capped at 250 vendors and 5 team members. Source verifications are pay per use, priced before you run each one. No card on file for the pilot itself, nothing to cancel.
VendMetric as your vendor
We answer the same questions we help you ask
You are about to run a vendor-compliance review on a vendor-compliance company. Here is what is already published.
Security posture
What is built today (tenant isolation tested on every release, an immutable audit trail, role-based access) and what is still on the roadmap. We list both.
Read the security page →Subprocessors
Every third party that touches your data, what each one does, and where. Hosting, database and document storage, AI extraction, email, malware scanning, and payments.
See the list →Privacy policy
What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the rights you and your vendors have over it.
Read the policy →Terms of service
The agreement itself, including our commitments on availability, data ownership, and termination.
Read the terms →Available on request
We do not publish these, because most teams need them issued to your organization specifically. Ask and we will send them, usually the same business day.
- ✓Data processing agreement (DPA), including standard contractual clauses where relevant
- ✓W-9 and completed vendor onboarding or supplier-registration forms
- ✓Certificate of insurance, issued to your organization as certificate holder
- ✓Completed security questionnaire, including your own standard template
- ✓Master services agreement or a review of ours against your paper
The business case
Compare it to the problem, not to another subscription
The useful comparison is not VendMetric against another piece of software. It is VendMetric against what the current process costs you: the hours spent reading and re-requesting documents, the renewal that lapses unnoticed, the audit that turns into a week of assembly, and the enterprise platforms that solve this for tens of thousands a year and charge your vendors on top.
A Professional plan is $3,588 a year. The question your reviewer should ask is whether the current process wastes more than that. For most teams managing more than about thirty vendors, the answer is obvious once the hours are counted.
We do not publish a return-on-investment figure. We are early, and we do not yet have enough measured customer outcomes to put a number behind. When we do, it will be measured and attributed, not modelled. In the meantime the product reports your own realized value back to you inside the app, from your own data.
Review questions
What procurement always asks
Where is our data stored, and who can reach it?
In our database and document storage, hosted in the United States. Every query is scoped to your organization, and an automated suite tries to breach that isolation on every code change before we ship. Our subprocessor list names every third party in the path.
Is our data used to train AI models?
No. Documents are sent to our extraction provider to be read and the result returned. They are not used to train models. The subprocessor page names the provider.
Do you have a SOC 2 report?
Not yet. We are building toward SOC 2 alignment as we scale and we will share our current status directly rather than imply a certification we do not hold. The security page states the same thing.
What happens to our data if we leave?
Any admin can export everything the organization has, vendors, document files, compliance history, and the full audit trail, as one archive, at any time. No support ticket, no waiting period, no exit fee.
What does it cost our vendors?
Nothing. Responding to your requests is free for them, permanently. That is deliberate: platforms that charge vendors an annual fee to work with you create friction you end up absorbing.
Who do we contact for security or legal review?
Us, directly. We are happy to walk your security, procurement, or legal team through the architecture and the agreement on a call rather than through a portal.
Already using VendMetric internally?
Your own procurement team can run on it too
The same compliance record that clears a vendor can run the award behind it: requisitions, solicitations, scored evaluations, approval thresholds, purchase orders, and invoices, with the compliance check built into the decision rather than bolted beside it. That is the optional Procurement & Finance module.
Send us your review process
Forward your security questionnaire, your supplier forms, or your standard agreement. We will work through it with you rather than ask you to work through a portal.
